Grand Master's Florida Visitation - February 6 - 10, 2017
Grand Master Carey B. Carter looks forward to visiting with our many Brothers and Sisters in the State of Florida. It's not surprising that the second largest location to find Indiana Freemasons is the State of Florida. After all those Midwestern winters it's the perfect place to get some relief.
During the week of February 6 – 10, 2017 we have scheduled 3 luncheons in central Florida; there we will share fellowship, information about your Indiana Masonic Home at Compass Park and present several worthy Brothers their Fifty Year Award of Gold. All luncheons will have registration beginning at 11:30 a.m. with Lunch served at 12:00 (noon). Indiana Freemasons and one (1) guest will be complimentary, additional guests are always welcome, we ask for $15.00 to help cover some of the expense.
We hope you will promote this event in your area and get all our Brothers to these events. Our greatest challenge is not having all the contact information of our full and part time Florida residents and we need your help to get the word out.
Disaster Relief Appeal for Louisiana
Fueled by drenching rainstorms, massive flooding in Louisiana has damaged and destroyed many homes and buildings, with some 70,000 persons reportedly displaced. Described as “mammoth” and “catastrophic” flooding, conditions were caused by huge rainfall. For example, Baton Rouge received 19 inches of rain in 15 hours.
